Joseph is a business and product management leader with a strong technology background and broad experience both in small start-up-like environments (Tivoli and NetIQ) as well as larger PE-backed companies (NetIQ and Sungard AS). Joseph has managed global software and technology services / cloud businesses with several hundred million dollars revenue, launching new products and services and leading business transformations.

Most recently, as Vice President of Product Management for Sungard AS, he led the vision, strategy and roadmap execution of the recovery business globally. Joseph's team transformed the traditional recovery business, delivered a next generation cloud recovery capability and also drove the adoption of public cloud (AWS) - establishing Sungard AS leadership in enterprise-scale Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS). Prior to Sungard AS,  he held multiple product management, solution marketing and software development leadership roles across both private and public technology companies. 

Joseph's product management philosophy reflects a strong understanding that multiple organizational functions need to work together for organizational success and that optimal alignment on a strategy is key to successful execution. Joseph holds several technology patents and has published multiple articles and blogs for CIO, Forbes.com and DRJ. He  was recognized in March 2019 by the CIO Executive Council with a 2019 Ones to Watch award for future C-level business technology executives.
